4×50 MW Dayingjiang- 3 Hydropower Project Phases 1&2

The Dayingjiang-3 Hydropower Project Phases 1&2 in Yunnan Province, China, is a renewable energy project that generates electricity by utilizing the water resources of the Daying River. Four 50 MW hydro generation units are installed and the electricity generated is sold to the Dehong Power Grid and then fed to Yunnan Power Grid. The project achieves significant GHG emission reductions by avoiding 569,379 tonnes of CO2e per year, making it a valuable addition to the China Southern Power Grid.
